Fellow Managers,

Flights to Fort Myers, Florida are up by 1,493% since one month ago. You know what that means — pitchers and catchers have started reporting for duty. Thus the time has come to welcome you all back to Baldelli’s Modern Life XVI. You’ve all been invited back into the Yahoo league and your teams are unlocked.

As you can see from the attached contact sheet, I don’t have any reserve managers available. If you’re thinking of not playing this year or if you have a reserve manager to recommend please tell me sooner rather than later.

With that, a few announcements:

Business:

• League dues: They are $205. Venmo @Misha-Tenenbaum.
• I have a record of those who won prize money and opted to use it for dues this year. Ask me if you don’t remember.
• If you need more time before paying dues, let me know and I’ll grant an extension until the All-Star game.
• A reminder that $5 of the entry fee is used to award The Commissioner’s Trophy.

Important Dates:

• Division Picks: I will contact division winners Tokin’ Asian and Crotchet Rocket to set the date soon.
• Keeper Deadline: Monday, March 9th. Email me your keepers and prices. I will confirm the prices (view keeper rules, view only keeper price sheet).
• Draft Day: (Suggested) Sunday, March 15th at 5 PM PST, 8 PM EST.
  Let me know ASAP if there is any reason you absolutely cannot make this date.
• MLB Opening Day: March 26th

Rule Changes:

Division Picks When Tied: LA Nasty Yakkers and Tokin tied for division champion by winning % and split the prize. However, they can’t split who picks the division, so I’m setting a precedent that the team with more wins picks the division.
